Addicted to Downton Abbey!

I recently started watching Downton Abbey and I simply can't get enough of it! Needless to say, my old-English-speaking-accent-feeling self is back! =D

Set in 1912, fictional Yorkshire estate Downton Abbey is home to the aristocratic family, the Crawleys and their interesting household staff.

A long, standing law, a family's estate and fortune should only pass to male heirs. The rich earl, Lord Grantham has no son (only three daughters). On the first episode, it assumed  that his first daughter, Mary was to marry his cousin's son and his direct heir, Patrick. Unfortunately he was aboard Titanic on its way to New York when it sank and was one of it's casualties. 

The whole story revolved around the aristocrat family, their enormous household staff, and those people around them. It's nice to watch the same story from different people's perspective! And, for someone who loves this era and knows in her heart she was born in the wrong age, I just can't get enough of this series! 

Catch Downton Abbey on HBO. (Or if you're like me, buy it on DVD and have a DA marathon!)
